Photographing Nanjing

Nanjing impresses as a city.  It has lower raised tower blocks and has attractive trees that line the road.  It has an old city wall and is a historical base for the old nationalist China.  The city is rather special and the old capital has many historical and spiritual landmarks.  We visited the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum which is one of the most visited monuments in the world.  The views were spectacular from the top especially as Autumn was approaching and the leaves were turning brown.

We also visited the Usnisa Palace which houses the sacred relic of the skull of the Buddha. There was so much to photograph and this part of the structure provided a great photograph opportunity.
