How to license a photograph

A print is a physical copy from the shop. A license is permission to use the photograph itself — in press, a book, a campaign, or another publication. Licenses are quoted privately; they do not appear in the public shop.

  1. Choose the photograph Open a story and use “License this photograph”, or describe the image in the form below.
  2. Tell me how you will use it Editorial, commercial or exclusive, plus territory and any deadline.
  3. I send a preview and a quote You get a confirmation email now. I reply within a few working days with a private proof and the right license fee.
  4. Pay, then download After payment you receive the master file and a license certificate. No public checkout for rights.
